DONE!!!!!!

Just got done with my research paper and turned it in over blackboard. I'm very excite. I think it turned out well but I'm just glad it is done and that I am happy.

Research paper

Got about half of my paper done and still have a lot to write about. I think it is coming well though. I am getting all my major points on my paper and i think the arguements are good.

We will see though.......

Digital native or immigrant

Digital immigrant and native are new terms to me after reading the article in class. I would consider myself a little of both. I am a native in the fact that I know how to use a computer, ipod, and other things of that nature. I would consider myself a semi immigrant in the fact that i use a computer solely for entertainment and school purposes. For school its mostly reading and researching.
It seems it would be hard for people my age to put themselves into one catagory and not both.

Exxon....

Yeah, so I'm sitting looking for sources on Exxon overseas. I have to find problems or issues they are having and can't really find a whole lot. Mae I'm looking in all of the wrong places.....
Anyway, If any of you for some reason know of a site or place I can look, I would be greatly appreciative.

Essay proposal

I decided to write my paper about marijuana compared to other MORE HARMFUL drugs. These include vikadin, every day cold medicine, and ALCOHOL. You may notice that all of these things are available to almost everyone, that is of age of course. After 21, people can go wild getting all drugged up on potentially dangerous, legal drugs.

I will write for both sides, both for and against marijuana, but mostly for it. No one has ever Over dosed on smoking marijuana and I think it is crazy that people think that it is more harmful just because it is illegal. Legal drugs are way more harmful if used incorrectly.


I guess those are just my thoughts........

Media bias on Cable TV

It is a little harder to find some media bias on vable TV. I know FOX is a little more on the conservative side but I just saw an Obama ad on so I dunno.......

Last night, if anyone saw SNL Sarah Palin was on, (poking fun at herself) with Tina Fey. It was pretty funny at times. It might be a publicity type of stunt to try to get votes, in my opinion not working very well.

Liberal Media Reading

This reading, to me, seemed to kind of drag on. Now it was in all honesty interesting, but the author could have summed it up in a page or less. The examples he used were probably the reason it went on so long.
The other reading we had this week, the piece on Ziegler talking about Wallace's death I followed a lot better. He was kind of low blowing Wallace in the fact that he waited until David Foster Wallace died to insult him. Before that Ziegler wanted Wallace to come on his show for an interview, where we all know Wallace would have been ganged up on the public air. It's no wonder Wallace denied Ziegler of any sort of interview.
The piece Wallace wrote was good, entitled "Host". It gave people a chance to see John Ziegler's real side. I don't know if his real listeners did not know what a harsh a-hole he could be before the article even came out. I think it is pretty obvious that Ziegler is a hard core conservative.
