Host was a bit of an abnormal type of essay/article to say the least. The form in it was not like things I often read. The way David Wallace describes everything was in a way destracting, to me at least. Especially when he devoted almost an entire paragraph talking about the way the office they work in smelled like decaying bananas. But then went on say that there is no way it was John Ziegler because he never eats.
I think i could enjoy Wallace's writing style if we had read something else by him. I enjoyed it more than previous readings in school but at the same time all of the boxes were destracting.
Any thoughts????
